Welcome to The Woods on 84 Event Center! We are excited to be part of your special moments. Proudly rooted in the Painesville Township community, we are a family-owned and operated establishment. Founded by John Roberto, who brings over 30 years of experience in the catering industry, we are delighted to see his vision turn into reality. In 2024, John fulfilled his dream of establishing a dedicated event space, and we officially opened our doors in June. Additionally, John owns J&J Catering and the adjacent Fire and Ice building.

J &. J Catering, our off premise catering services are extensive, covering everything from wedding and baby showers to birthday and graduation parties, clambakes, corporate events, and much more.

The Woods on 84, our Event Center is designed to impress! With two grand garage doors that can be opened to let in fresh air, a stylish bar, and a fully equipped kitchen, we have everything you need for a fantastic event. You can set the mood with our Bluetooth music system and take advantage of our microphones for speeches or entertainment. We love making each event special, so we tailor everything to fit your unique vision. Plus, we offer personalized menu planning, setup and cleanup services, decorating support, and professional bartenders and servers to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Our recently acquired Mooreland Mansion at Lakeland Community College is a sophisticated and elegant venue ideal for weddings, showers, meetings, and ceremonies in the enchanting rose garden. With its beautifully manicured landscaping and neoclassical charm, the Mansion offers a truly unforgettable wedding experience.
